Zach Cwalinski Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Valley View got the W thanks in part to Zach Cwalinski playing the best football he has all season. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
The victory was the seventh in a row for Valley View, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Cwalinski and Valley View will be playing in front of their home fans against Wyoming Valley West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The victory got Abington Heights back to even at 4-4. Bradley and Abington Heights will venture away from home to face off against Scranton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Valley View picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nick Kucharski. Delaware Valley had no answer to Kucharski as he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 40 receiving yards. Kucharski didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
