Soccer Game Preview: Viewmont vs. Woods Cross

The Viewmont Vikings will take on the Woods Cross Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While Viewmont's victory against Clearfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but Viewmont sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Woods Cross fell victim to Bountiful and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the RedHawks by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Woods Cross have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Woods Cross and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Viewmont, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
