Baseball Game Preview: Carlmont Scots vs. Sequoia Ravens

The Carlmont Scots will square off against the Sequoia Ravens at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Carlmont is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Archbishop Riordan just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 6-2 to the Crusaders.

Carlmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Tofigh, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Sequoia duked it out with Los Altos on Saturday. The Ravens fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-6.

Carlmont now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Sequoia, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
