Baseball Recap: Lucerne Valley Mustangs vs. Silver Valley Trojans
Lucerne Valley lost against Silver Valley last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lucerne Valley came up short against Silver Valley, falling 15-5. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Leon Willoughby made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Juaquin Landeros was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.
