Ryan Ange continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. What's more, he also racked up three blocks, the most he's had since back in November of 2023. Aidan Persons was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards.
Meanwhile, Ahoskie Christian strolled past Bethel Assembly Christian Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 73-55.
Ahoskie Christian found their leader in freshman Jaelen Rascoe, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 23 rebounds. Rascoe's evening made it 20 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Martin, who went 8 for 15 en route to 22 points and five assists.
Ahoskie Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Terra Ceia Christian's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Ahoskie Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Terra Ceia Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 45.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Ahoskie Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
