Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) squared off against three-time NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan in the Drew League over the weekend — and the nation's top-rated high school basketball player proved he can already hang with the pros.
The 6-foot-10 versatile threat dropped 32 points and 11 rebounds and even outscored DeRozan. Bagley also shut down the event after blowing by DeRozan and throwing down a one-handed thunderous dunk.
The MaxPreps All-American averaged 24.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest in guiding the No. 18 Trailblazers to the CIF Open Division regional semifinals last season. Sierra Canyon looks loaded for another big run in 2017-18 with the addition of five-star
Cassius Stanley.
Duke and Kentucky are out in front for Bagley's services.
