AAAAAA Region 6 recap November 19, 2013

Alpharetta added to the longest winning streak in AAAAAA Region 6 this week by beating South Gwinnett, 41-23. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Raiders.

North Forsyth fell to Archer 34-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cody Gottberg threw for 78 yards and 1 touchdown in the defeat.

North Forsyth's dynamic duo of Gottberg and Zach Slaton proved to be unstoppable against the Tigers, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Matther Cianciolo helped North Forsyth's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 30 yards.

TREVOR O'BRIEN was a passing and rushing force as West Forsyth fell to Dacula. O'BRIEN's favorite target this week was AUSTIN MCEWEN, who caught 2 passes for 37 yards.

6-foot-4 quarterback Taz Wilson of Chattahoochee is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,097. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Christian Robinson. The Centennial star has 64 catches for 966 yards.

So far this year, he has acheived 64 catches for 966 yards.

Alpharetta led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on the Comets.
