Baseball Recap: Millis Has No Trouble Against Bellingham

Millis barely beat Bellingham the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mohawks blew past the Blackhawks 9-2 on Sunday. That looming 9-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mohawks yet this season.

Brody Barrett made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Barrett was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nick Hohman, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Braden Ingoldsby, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Millis' record is now 4-11. As for Bellingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
