Meanwhile, Southside fell victim to Southwest and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Dragons. The Cardinals have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Jay's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Southside, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
