Basketball Recap: Hartselle Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hartselle challenged Knox Central on Saturday. The Hartselle Tigers took a 71-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knox Central Panthers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hartselle's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Knox Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Hartselle will head out to square off against Homewood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Knox Central and William Blount will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Knox Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
