Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highland Tech). They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the East Gaston Warriors on Monday. Highland Tech haven't had any issues with East Gaston recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Highland Tech's offense was hitting East Gaston from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ty Johnson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Highland Tech's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Highland Tech will take on Shelby at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Gaston, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Burns at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burns' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
