Football Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Weyauwega-Fremont lost against Stratford back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warhawks were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 43-14. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Tigers are ranked 50th).

Weyauwega-Fremont's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Stratford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Weyauwega-Fremont is set to square off against their familiar foe Marathon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Stratford will take on rival Colby at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
