 Perry County Central is 10-0 against Hazard since May of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Perry County Central Commodores have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Perry County Central's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  15-0 margin over Buckhorn.
  Kaitlyn Grigsby and  Jossie Mullins made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Grigsby   tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Mullins   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.  Like Perry County Central, Hazard also got a great game from a two-way player:  Peyton Fields. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Fields was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kaydence Stollings, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Mallory Combs, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Perry County Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 games,  which provided a massive bump to their 26-10 record  this season. As for Hazard, they pushed their record up to 24-4 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  at home.
