Volleyball Recap: Provo Comes Up Short

Provo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagle Mustangs.

Despite the defeat, Provo saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lexi Carter had 25 digs. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Carter.

Provo now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Eagle, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Provo has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Thunder Ridge on the 13th. Eagle has also already played their next matchup (against Brighton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
