Soccer Recap: Ridgway Has No Trouble Against Port Allegany

Ridgway hadn't done well against Port Allegany recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Elker were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Gators. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Ridgway were the better team in the second half.

The victory made it two in a row for Ridgway and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two games. As for Port Allegany, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
