Softball Recap: Norcom Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Norcom's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Denbigh Patriots on Wednesday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Norcom's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Denbigh, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Coming up, Norcom will welcome Granby at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Greyhounds' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Denbigh, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hampton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Crabbers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.2 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
