Omaha Westside entered their tilt with Omaha North on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 6-1 victory. Given Omaha Westside's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Omaha North are ranked 51st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Omaha Westside's offense was hitting Omaha North from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ellis Oksman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Omaha Westside pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Omaha North, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
