Softball Recap: Charleston Tigers vs. Valley Springs Tigers
Charleston and Valley Springs squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Charleston had to settle for second. They lost 9-0 to the Valley Springs Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Charleston of the 13-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Valley Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
