Baseball Recap: Manassas Park Cougars vs. Brentsville District Tigers

Manassas Park extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-7 in the process. They lost 19-0 to the Brentsville District Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

As for Brentsville District, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

For Brentsville District's part, David Moffett was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
