Linganore is 8-2 against Urbana since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Linganore Lancers are taking a road trip to face off against the Urbana Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Linganore was able to grind out a solid win over North Hagerstown, taking the game 55-42. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Lancers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Hubs are ranked 43rd).

Linganore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Donaldson, who posted 13 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cory Clark, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Linganore was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Hagerstown only racked up six assists.

Meanwhile, Urbana waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cadets, sneaking past 63-61.

Urbana is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Linganore, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Linganore strolled past Urbana when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 61-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Linganore since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
