Basketball Recap: Sherman Skates Past Glenwood with Ease

Sherman waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Glenwood Eagles 64-32. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Sherman has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Glenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sherman won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dufur at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Glenwood, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trout Lake at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
