Football Game Preview: West Babylon Eagles vs. Centereach Cougars

The West Babylon Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Centereach Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

West Babylon lost 28-7 to Newfield on Saturday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Centereach might've scored the first points on Saturday, but it was Copiague who claimed the real prize. The Cougars fell 27-17 to the Eagles. The Cougars were up 14-0 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

West Babylon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Centereach, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for West Babylon against Centereach when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 39-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
