Sunlake is 8-0-2 against Land O' Lakes since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Sunlake Seahawks will host the Land O' Lakes Gators at 7:30 p.m. Sunlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Sunlake's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Zephyrhills. Given the Seahawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 593rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sunlake's offense was hitting Zephyrhills from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Omar Ahmed led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Land O' Lakes was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of Cypress Creek by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Coyotes : they've now lost five in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Sunlake and bumps their season record up to 7-1-2. As for Land O' Lakes, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Sunlake came out on top in a nail-biter against Land O' Lakes in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will Sunlake repeat their success, or does Land O' Lakes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
