Basketball Recap: Haddon Heights Snags Ninth Victory in Last 11 Games

Haddon Heights had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Manchester Township Hawks on Wednesday, sneaking past 55-53. 55 seems to be a good number for the Garnets as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Manchester Township lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Madeline Nolan, who posted 16 points. She has been hot, having posted 16 or more points the last five times she's played. Jesse Sarana was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Haddon Heights is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Manchester Township's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.

Coming up, Haddon Heights will take on Middle Township on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Middle Township comes in on eight and Haddon Heights on six. Manchester Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
