Daniel Grabo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grant Alexander, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Those stolen bases marked the first that he snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Brock Shuba, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.
University kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, The Linsly School entered their game against Tri-Valley on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cadets lost 9-2 to the Scotties.
