Preview: Woodland Wildcats vs. Cass Colonels
Woodland is on a four-game streak of home losses, Cass a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Woodland Wildcats will take on the Cass Colonels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, Woodland took a serious blow against Dalton, falling 76-36. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Woodland in their matchups with Dalton: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Cass came up short against Hiram on Tuesday and fell 62-49. While losing is never fun, Cass can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Hiram is ranked 105th).
Woodland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Cass, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
