Basketball Recap: Clinton Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Turner, Clinton was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-46 victory over the Parkview Vikings. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Parkview, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

The future could be bright for both Clinton and Parkview: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Clinton will try to hand Evansville their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Parkview will look to extend Waterloo's 12-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
