IC Catholic Prep extended their postseason success on Friday against Timothy Christian. They blew past the Timothy Christian Trojans 45-21. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Despite the defeat, Timothy Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elisabeth Van Den Berg dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. Van Den Berg is becoming a predictor of Timothy Christian's success: when she posts at least ten rebounds the team is 10-5 (and 7-8 when she doesn't).

IC Catholic Prep's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Timothy Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-13.

Coming up, IC Catholic Prep will square off against Westmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Timothy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
