            Baseball Recap: Spackenkill Spartans vs. Red Hook Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Spackenkill extended their losing streak  to four  on Monday, dropping their season record down to 2-6 in the process. They lost  9-3 to the Red Hook Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  7-1  on April 9th.
  Bryan Hoyt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double.
As for Red Hook, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4. With that  victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.
 On Red Hook's side,  Dylan Dibble was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with four  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Karl Russell was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Coming up, Spackenkill will square off against Rhinebeck at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Red Hook, they will take on Highland at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
