Softball Recap: Maple Shade Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Maple Shade won the last time they faced Pemberton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Hornets. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Mackenzie Myers looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Haylee Gaidecksi was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Alivia Diebert, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Maple Shade's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 13.3 runs thus far As for Pemberton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Maple Shade Wildcats take on Palmyra Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Pemberton, they will face off against Willingboro at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
