Football Recap: West-Oak Warriors vs. Walhalla Razorbacks
West-Oak extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 4-6. They were dealt a 35-7 defeat at the hands of the Walhalla Razorbacks. The Warriors lost against the Razorbacks in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-0 score last time.
As for Walhalla, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7. 35 seems to be a good number for them as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Walhalla got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Johnson out in front who threw for 151 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of Johnson's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) went to Nick Butler, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
West-Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walhalla, they will challenge Belton-Honea Path at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so the Razorbacks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
