Soccer Recap: Air Academy Comes Up Short

Air Academy was the 1-0 winner over Lutheran when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kadets fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Air Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3-2. As for Lutheran, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Air Academy will take on Lewis-Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran, they will face off against Golden at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight.
