After a string of six wins, St. John's Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Anthony's Friars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Friars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-52 back in December of 2024.
It was another big night for Kevin Moore, who posted 13 points in addition to six assists and five steals for St. Anthony's. That's the most steals Moore has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nicolas Vieux, who put up seven points along with six rebounds and five assists.
St. John's Prep's loss dropped their record down to 23-4. As for St. Anthony's, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 25-3.
