Volleyball Recap: DSST: Montview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

DSST: Montview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Fort Lupton Bluedevils. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bluedevils when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-16, 26-28, 25-11.

Sydney Connors paced DSST: Montview's offense, picking up eight kills. Connors got some help from Jamie Ladner and her 11 assists. Connors was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Fort Lupton found their leader in sophomore Andrea Anguiano, who had nine digs and two aces.

DSST: Montview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fort Lupton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

DSST: Montview has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against The Academy on the 9th. As for Fort Lupton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Arvada on the 9th.
