Basketball Recap: Corliss Comes Up Short

Corliss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Goode STEM Academy Knights and fell 61-6. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Corliss' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Goode STEM Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Corliss won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Von Steuben at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Goode STEM Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Solorio at 6:00 p.m. Goode STEM Academy's defense has only allowed 17.9 points per game this season, so Solorio's offense will have their work cut out for them.
