Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Aldine Mustangs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Eisenhower saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Gourley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Eisenhower has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Aldine, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

While Eisenhower had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
