North Woods entered their tilt with South Ridge on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 75-43 stomp they got against the South Ridge Panthers. The grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

North Woods' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for South Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Woods will square off against Ely at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for South Ridge, they are taking a road trip to take on Floodwood at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. South Ridge is facing Floodwood at the right time seeing as Floodwood is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
