Northridge is 6-0 against Lake Forest Academy since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Northridge Knights will challenge the Lake Forest Academy Caxys at 6:00 p.m. Northridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Lake Forest Academy likes a good challenge.

Northridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 89-58 win over Francis W. Parker. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lake Forest Academy entered their tilt with Thornton Fractional South on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Red Wolves. Given the Caxys' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Lake Forest Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Northridge was able to grind out a solid win over Lake Forest Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 48-41. Will Northridge repeat their success, or does Lake Forest Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
