Basketball Recap: Lake Creek Lions vs. A&M Consolidated Tigers
Even though the A&M Consolidated Tigers scored an imposing 64 points on Friday, the Lake Creek Lions still came out on top. Lake Creek took their contest against the Tigers 72-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lake Creek.
Lake Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aedan Lewis out in front who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Cody Puckett was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Lake Creek is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. As for A&M Consolidated, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12.
Lake Creek will take on the Rangers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rudder is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for A&M Consolidated, they will head out on the road to take on the Bears at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Montgomery will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
