Permian extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They lost 81-60 to the South Oak Cliff Bears. On the bright side, the 60- point effort marked the Panthers' highest-scoring game to date.

As for South Oak Cliff, their record now sits at 3-5. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 4th (when they won 74-34).

South Oak Cliff's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yusuf Muhammad, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rc Herrin, who went 9-for-14 to rack up 24 points and five boards.

Permian has already played their next matchup, a 71-65 loss against Dripping Springs on the 6th. As for South Oak Cliff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-44 victory against Memorial on the 5th.
