After a string of three wins, Oak Grove's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They received a blow as they fell 60-45 to the Clinton Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 50-27 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Oak Grove's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-4. As for Clinton, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
