The East Moline United Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Sycamore Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Moline United is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

East Moline United came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Morton, falling 7-1.

Zach Darras spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, East Moline United saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Welge, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Sycamore made sure to put some runs up on the board against Sterling on Monday. The Spartans came out on top against the Golden Warriors by a score of 13-10. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Golden Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

East Moline United's loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Sycamore, their win bumped their record up to 16-13.
