Baseball Recap: Vinton County Gets the Win

Vinton County got themselves on the board against Belpre on Wednesday, but Belpre never followed suit. They came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

The team relied heavily on Jase Moore, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Vinton County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Zach Ramsey also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Vinton County's record now sits at 9-7. As for Belpre, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
