After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Longview, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Harleton Wildcats 14-8. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games.
