Volleyball Recap: Mountain Valley Takes a Loss

Mountain Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sargent Farmers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Mountain Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-12.

Mountain Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Sargent, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mountain Valley will challenge Primero at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sargent, they will head out to square off against Buena Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
