Basketball Recap: Capital Cougars vs. Parkersburg Big Reds

The Capital Cougars were dealt an 81-52 loss at the hands of the Parkersburg Big Reds. Leading Parkersburg to victory were Audriana Medina and Kennedy Porter. Medina went 7 of 12 en route to 16 points, while Porter dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Porter has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played. Sophie Lott was another key player, as she made all 5 shots she took racking up 11 points.

As for Parkersburg, they will face off against George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. George Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Parkersburg likes a good challenge.
