Bristol County Agricultural hadn't beaten Blue Hills RVT on the road since May 3, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Chieftains came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 9-6.

At the plate, Bristol County Agricultural let Kara Millar and Molly LaBrie run wild. Millar went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while LaBrie went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That stolen base was Millar's first of the season. Autumn Nicholson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Upper Cape Cod RVT saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rosalie Neville, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another was Meadow Diede (Captain), who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.
Bristol County Agricultural's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
Upper Cape Cod RVT's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bristol County Agricultural has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 15.3 hits per game. It's a different story for Upper Cape Cod RVT, though, as they've been averaging 12.3 hits. Given Bristol County Agricultural's sizable advantage in that area, the Rams will need to find a way to close that gap.
Bristol County Agricultural got the 'W' when the teams last played last Wednesday against Upper Cape Cod RVT by a conclusive 19-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chieftains since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
