It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Davis can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Copper Hills Grizzlies on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Darts of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Davis' offense was headlined by Katie Reymer and Paige Halliday, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Olivia Checketts and her nine assists.

Leading Copper Hills to victory were Kielana Gasu and Alondra Zambrano. Gasu had nine digs and two aces, while Zambrano had nine digs. That's the most aces Gasu has posted since back in October.
