Baseball Game Preview: Walhalla Razorbacks vs. Pendleton Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Walhalla will face off against Pendleton. Walhalla is taking a road trip to face off against Pendleton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Walhalla will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Pendleton, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Walhalla came out on top against Pendleton by a score of 6-3 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Razorbacks.

Collin Phillips was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Phillips was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with five RBI and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nate Johnson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carson Bibb, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Walhalla's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Pendleton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
