Baseball Game Preview: Boys Ranch Roughriders vs. Follett Panthers

For the second straight game, Boys Ranch will face off against Follett. The Roughriders will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Boys Ranch has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Follett will arrive with three straight wins.

On Monday, Boys Ranch came up short against Follett and fell 13-10. Even if the Roughriders couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Zeke Holman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Cam Yarbrough also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Boys Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Follett, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.
